21st Annual ADS Recital and Art Show
Friday 6/14 7pm
Saturday 6/15 1pm

TICKETS ARE GOING FAST!! Hurry before we are sold out!!
You may purchase tickets from the studio on the following days:
Thursday  5/2
Tuesdays 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28
LAST CHANCE TICKET SALES: Tuesday 6/4 and Thursday 6/6
Ticket sales times 4:30-6:30pm

DANCERS, PLEASE PRACTICE AT HOME!!
Parents, you may videotape in class until May 17th. (It works best if you video into the mirror!!)
Most music is available for download on the internet.

If your dancer needs extra assistance to polish their dance, please ask your teacher about PRIVATE and SEMI PRIVATE LESSONS.

COSTUMES:
Recital costumes are starting to arrive and will be handed out in class.
YOUR BALANCE MUST BE PAID IN FULL TO RECEIVE YOUR COSTUME(S).

Please hang your costumes in the closet and don’t alter them unless instructed by Ariel.  Please put your dancer’s name on all of the tags – mark everything including accessories, tights, and shoes – but make sure it doesn’t show!! Please DO NOT wear the tights or costume until picture day.

MANDATORY: Picture Day  is June 1 at ADS
We will be sending out information regarding our picture day schedule and instructions (hair, makeup, and costume.)

Group and individual pictures will be taken. Order forms are now available at the studio.

WE NEED MORE PARENT VOLUNTEERS for the RECITAL!!! – We have only a few signed up.
Don’t procrastinate – Please sign up in the waiting rooms for each studio.

We cannot put on a show with out your help! We need volunteers for backstage moms, security, and the lobby.
This is what we need:
Backstage Moms - 2 per class, per show
Lobby: 8 parents per show
Security Dads: 4 per show

STILL NEEDED: Does any one have an RV we can use for an extra dressing room for recital?? Please let us know ASAP.

MANDATORY PARENT MEETING

ALL parents, please come to the first 15 minutes of your classes during the week of May 20 – 24th.  We will give you info and answer your questions.
Do you have questions?  Is this your first time in Recital? Even if you are a veteran – please come to receive all of the recital information.

Pre-sale TICKET SALE DAY and Open House:
Saturday, April 20th 10am – 3pm at ADS

We will be selling Preferred Seating and General Admission tickets at the studio!!

Student Ticket Sale Contest – April 21 – May 28:
You may purchase General Admission Tickets from our dancers! Please encourage friends and family to come to enjoy our show – and to celebrate our dancers’ hard work and love of dance!!!

RECITAL PROGRAM ADS:
Congratulatory and Business Ads for our recital program “DANCEBOOK” are due April 30. Forms are available at the office and online.  This is a great way to inexpensively advertise your business to over 800 local people!

PICTURE DAY:  Saturday, June 1 at ADS
We will be sending out information and instructions regarding the picture day schedule. Group and individual pictures will be taken for our recital program.
Yearly award winners will be taking headshots at JCPenneys. More information to come.

Candid photos will be taken during our dress rehearsal. These photos will be available for purchase in the lobby (and online) at recital.

Privates and Semi Privates are available. If your dancer needs to catch up, or needs extra instruction, please ask us about our private lessons.  This is a great way for your dancers to have one-on-one time with their teacher – or another teacher for variety!
